ZaadhaJobs (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your information when you use the ZaadhaJobs mobile application and website (the “Platform”).
This policy is designed to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and application distribution platform policies.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect data that is necessary to provide our services, ensure safety, and comply with legal obligations.
A. Information You Provide to Us
Account Information: When you securely sign in to the platform, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
Contact Information: We may collect your mobile number via OTP verification to ensure platform safety and prevent spam accounts.
User-Generated Content: Job postings, job descriptions, wages, and location tags you create on the Platform.
B. Information Collected via Device Permissions
Location Data (GPS): With your explicit permission, we collect your precise or approximate location to show you hyper-local jobs and to allow you to tag job worksites. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
Audio/Microphone Data: To facilitate in-app voice calls (VoIP) between job seekers and employers, we require microphone access. We do not record, monitor, or store the audio content of your voice calls.
Notifications: We require notification permissions to alert you of incoming calls and job updates.
Photos/Media: With your permission, we access the specific images you select to allow you to upload or update your profile picture. We do not scan or access your entire device gallery.
C. Automatically Collected Information
Device & Usage Logs: To comply with Indian cybersecurity directives (CERT-In), we automatically collect IP addresses, device models, OS versions, and timestamps of key actions (login, posting jobs, account deletion) for security and fraud prevention.
Advertising Data: We collect your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Data
We process your data strictly for the following purposes:
Service Delivery: To create your account, match you with nearby jobs, and enable direct VoIP communication between users.
Trust & Safety: To verify accounts, filter out scams, abusive content, and discriminatory job postings using automated moderation tools.
Legal Compliance: To maintain security access logs as mandated by law enforcement and government regulations.
Advertising: To serve non-intrusive advertisements via third-party ad networks.
3. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data under the following circumstances:
With Other Users: When you post a job, your profile name, picture, and job details are visible to job seekers. Your phone number remains hidden; communication happens securely via in-app VoIP.
With Service Providers: We use trusted third-party processors (such as cloud hosting, map providers, and VoIP communication APIs) who process data strictly on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
With Third-Party SDKs: We integrate third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to provide core functionalities, including Mapbox (for location services), VideoSDK (for VoIP calling), and Google AdMob/Firebase (for analytics and advertising). These providers may collect data such as IP addresses or Advertising IDs in accordance with their own respective privacy policies.
For Legal Reasons: We will disclose data (including access logs) if required by a valid legal order, subpoena, or government request under Indian law, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
4. Data Retention and Account Deletion
A. Data Retention
We retain your profile and job data as long as your account is active. Expired jobs are automatically archived and removed from public search.
B. Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can request deletion directly within the ZaadhaJobs app (Settings → Delete Account) or via our Web Deletion Portal.
Immediate Action: Upon deletion, your public profile, active job posts, and authentication credentials are immediately removed from live systems.
Legal Archive: To comply with CERT-In directions, basic security access logs and IP trails associated with your account are securely archived for 180 days before being permanently purged.
5. Your Rights (Under DPDP Act, 2023)
As a user in India, you have the right to:
Access a summary of the personal data we process about you.
Data Portability: Request and download a machine-readable copy of your personal data directly within the app (Settings → Download My Data).
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Withdraw your consent or request the erasure of your data.
Nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
6. Children’s Privacy
ZaadhaJobs is intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into a contract. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Any account found belonging to a minor will be immediately terminated.
7. Security Measures
We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS/HTTPS encryption for data in transit, encrypted databases for data at rest, and strict access controls via secure cloud infrastructure.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements or platform features. We will notify you of any significant changes via the app. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
